Staycation at the Godfrey Hotel

Sometimes it is fun to pretend you are a visitor in your own city. Other times, it is great to take the elevator back to your floor after a night of heavy drinking. Once in a blue moon, you can combine both in one night. So for Nina's birthday we stayed at the Godfrey Hotel and had our friends meet us on the rooftop for drinks and then after a night of drinking and dancing, we walked 40 feet back to our room. Talk about living...

The Godfrey Hotel is located in River North and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Nicely designed modern rooms, lots of natural light to play with, and the restaurant on the first floor, Dolce, was excellent.
