Tourist | Venice Beach

Remember Kay Perry's California Girls? Me too. Venice Beach is like that song except instead of girls in bikinis there are old drunk dudes sleeping on the beach. Joking aside, (well it wasn't really a joke) Nina and I were in Venice Beach for our friends' wedding so we stayed an extra day to explore Abbot Kinney and the boardwalk. California, as with a number of other cities, has a distinct energy: laid-back and easy going. Whether that is because of it being sunny every day, or being close to the ocean is fine by me. 

Highlights: Ice cream shops, cool cars, and expert level people watching
