Weekly Wander | Geneva, IL
Nina and I took a little daytrip to Geneva, IL with our friends the Nicodems and the Stoffers. An easy hour trip on the Metra from the Ogilvie station. (btw they let you drink alcohol on the Metra)
Some notables:
- Moveable Feast for lunch (the cookies were pro, and the staff was so nice that I felt bad about not being a nice person)
- Drool over vintage cars on Third Street (Spotted a Studebaker Avanti and 67 Stingray)
- Walked along the slow moving Fox River
- Had dinner at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the country, Bien Trucha. Odd and hilarious that some of the best Mexican fare is located in a western suburb of Chicago
